Black Garlic and Olive Oil Breadsticks
These delicious breadsticks made with extra virgin olive oil present an innovative solution to offer your guests. They have an even more special flavor because they are enriched with the unique aroma of black garlic. This ingredient gives them a delicate and light taste, making them a perfect choice as a substitute for bread or as a snack to serve at a friendly gathering with spreadable cheeses or cold cuts.
Instructions:
To begin, pour flour, yeast, and water into a mixer and start mixing slowly; then, add salt and the two cloves of black garlic that you have previously crushed well with the back of a spoon, until they are transformed into a creamy puree.
“Our black garlic is SOFT!
It takes just 10 seconds to turn a clove into a teaspoon of wonderful black cream. Try it!”
Continue kneading until you obtain an elastic consistency, without overheating the dough.
Next, melt the butter in a container, add it together with the olive oil, and gradually incorporate the mixture into the dough. Let the mixer continue to work until it becomes homogeneous. When it feels soft and you see that it easily detaches from the walls of the bowl, transfer it to another container, cover it, and let it rise for 3 hours.
After the necessary time for doubling the volume has passed, take the dough, empty it onto a floured work surface, and start working it to form the breadsticks. As you make the breadsticks, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 15 minutes, until golden brown. Let them cool completely before enjoying them with pleasure. Store them in a tightly closed glass container to keep them crispy for several days.
