Garlic that is no longer garlic.

Black garlic is normal white garlic that goes through the Maillard reaction, turning the cloves black, soft, sweet and chewy, as well as removing garlic’s allicin, which is what is responsible for “garlic breath”.

It is a very versatile condiment which enhances flavours with its complex umami mix of balsamic, licorice, truffle, mushrooms…

It also has double the amount of antioxidants compared to normal garlic.
